2012 Queen Contest Rules

  1. Contestants must live in Morgan County.
  2. Contestants must be single, never married and have no children.
  3. Contestants must be a minimum of 17 years old by July 10, 2012 and a maximum of 21 years old by January, 1, 2013.
  4. Only the first 15 applicants will be accepted.
  5. Contestants cannot have previously been a county fair queen in Illinois.
  6. Contestants will be judged on beauty and physique, stage presence, speech communication and interviewed at a judges meeting prior to the pageant.
  7. Entry deadline for the Queen Contest is May 13, 2012.
  8. A $30 entry fee will be required for each contestant, sent with entry information.  This fee includes professional photos taken by Warmowski Photography and a 5 x 7 enlargement.
  9. Miss Morgan County is automatically entered in the Miss Illinois County Fair Pageant to be held in Springfield in January 2013.

  5. Each contestant will be judged in swimwear and a party dress and interviewed at the judges meeting prior to the pageant.
  6.  A $30 entry fee will be required for each contestant, sent with entry information by mail only.  Entries by phone will not be accepted.  This fee includes professional photos taken by Warmowski Photography and (2) 4 x 6 photos.
  7. Only applications of girls who have not entered in previous years will be accepted.
  8. Entry deadline for the princess contest was April 15, 2012 or to the first 15 applicants.
